Our Mission
The mission of the Global Learning Center is to provide opportunities for learning about peoples and cultures of the world in order to promote a peaceful future.

About Us
The Global Learning Center (GLC) was established by Howard Johnston in 1988 as a non-profit, community organization for fostering a better understanding of our fast changing world and its many peoples and their lives and their cultures.
Our Activities
The GLC is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors drawn from its membership. The GLC organizes monthly events as shown in the GLC Programs calendar.
Each year we also host a United Nations Banquet where we recognize the contributions of individuals to the GLC's mission through the Howard and Jeanne Johnston Award. The Howard Johnston Memorial Fund helps finance the participation of local students in global learning opportunities. We collaborate with many other organizations in Wichita as well as globally.
